100% Renewable San Diego is a road map for success in making San Diego completely reliant on renewable energy by the year 2020. This road map is based on initiatives that are currently being taken, future projections, and innovative ideas from other cities that are currently 100% renewable. With greenhouse gas emissions causing rapid climate change and fossil fuel supplies diminishing, there is no time like the present to focus on making the city, county, and port of San Diego 100% renewable.

Making San Diego a “green city” will require everyone’s participation. Today, our city is 8% renewable, and SDG&E is 20% renewable. We have lots more to do—and we invite you to join us. Your financial support as a Member/Sponsor enables us to drive this initiative faster.
“Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations.”
This road map provides documents, articles, presentations, videos, images, maps, and links that show the feasibility of this initiative and provide information on how it can be done. While this page is dedicated to San Diego, many of the information can be applied to other cities all around the world as well.
