Renewables are on a roll, and it's an unstoppable movement that's growing around the world. Last month, ten nations along with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) launched the "Renewables Club":
China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Morocco, South Africa, Tonga, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom.
Their common goal is to scale up the deployment of renewable energy worldwide.  German Environment Minister Peter Altmaier said the goal is "a worldwide transformation of the energy system."Â
The Renewables Club Communique stated: "We are convinced that renewable energy, including transmission and interconnection infrastructures, is an essential part of the solution to the existential challenges we are facing and the means to transform the path to sustainability."
This is exactly the message of the GENI Initiative.
We have reached the Tipping Point the threshold where a new technology and commitment grow and it is unstoppable.
Underscoring the trend is the recent aim of the Philippine Climate Change Commissions to 'supply 100% renewable energy to their country in 10 years.' GENI has published 25 national reports under the same title, and five were members of the Renewables Club. We expect that every nation will follow, as these are road-maps for the transition.  Please share this letter, "like" it on Facebook, and push for studies on "How Can We Become 100% Renewable?" in your nation, state and region.Â
